“Hello, my name is Chris Dahl owner and founder of Sewing 4 Fun. “I really love to sew!” More importantly I love to teach others how to sew. Sewing has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, however I didn’t realize how much I loved sewing until much later in life.”
My motivation for starting Sewing 4 Fun
With so many schools cutting sewing programs out of their curriculum today, many children just don’t get to experience this wonderful craft. And therefore never learn to sew. Oh, sure there are those who are lucky enough to have a parent or grandparent nearby who can teach them, but unfortunately this just isn’t the case for everyone.
That is why I have decided to dedicate my time to teaching our younger generation how to sew. I want to make sure every child has the opportunity to explore sewing and promise to do it in a way that it’s still fun! Using the proven Kids Can Sew & Fashion Design patterns and lessons every child can learn to sew starting as young as age 6!
In addition to teaching children, I will also offer programs for teens, adults and even have special programs for girl scouts and 4H groups. Sewing 4 Fun is my new sewing business. I will be teaching sewing to children, teens and adults in my smoke & pet free home studio. I have always dreamed of owning my own business and now I can finally realize that dream! Prior to opening my classroom I have been teaching others to sew and quilt both on and off line since the year 2006.
