“Hello, my name is Chris Dahl owner and founder of Sewing 4 Fun. “I really love to sew!” More importantly I love to teach others how to sew.
If you’re looking to learn to sew you have come to the right place. Sewing 4 fun is all about teaching you the skills needed to learn how to sew independently and confidently no matter what kind of sewing you’re interested in learning. I offer a variety of classes which are tailored to meet your individual needs. My primary focus is on beginners whether that be children or adults.
I offer private and group lessons for ages 6 and through adults. Craft sewing, home decor, quilting and garment sewing are all taught in my home studio. I also offer lessons around town at various locations like Elgin Community College, The Bartlett Nature Center, South Elgin Parks and Recreation, and Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (where I am a preferred partner as of August 2012).
